The ACFab Assault Rack is a custom-designed, ultra-low-profile roof rack built specifically for your vehicle. Sitting just 45mm above the roofline, it's among the lowest-profile roof racks available in New Zealand, helping minimise wind noise while maintaining a clean, factory-style appearance.

Built using marine-grade 5052 aluminium, finished in textured black powder coat, and weighing just 25kg.

The standard T-slot cross bars are compatible with most major accessory brands.

Awnings, recovery tracks, light bars, aerials, jerry can holders, tool mounts — if it uses an M8 bolt and T-slot system, it'll likely fit.

LOAD RATING

The Assault Rack is engineered to operate within your vehicle manufacturer's roof load rating.

For most vehicles with gutter mount systems this is typically around 100-150kg dynamic load, although ratings vary between vehicles. Static load that is when the vehicle is stationary (not moving) is 250-360 kg.

The rack itself is engineered to handle more than most vehicle roof ratings allow. The limiting factor is the vehicle roof structure, not the rack.

Always follow your vehicle manufacturer's specified roof load limits.

What is dynamic load rating?

Dynamic load rating refers to the maximum weight your vehicle's roof is certified to carry while the vehicle is moving. It accounts for forces generated by acceleration, braking, cornering, and road vibration — all of which increase the loads experienced by the roof structure.

This is a significantly more demanding standard than static load rating, which measures weight when the vehicle is stationary.
